Sisters in Christ!

It seems like a lot of time has passed since I last wrote one of these messages. Actually, it has been a long time, too long. It has been quiet for a while but that is about to change. It is time for us to really gear up for the 2012 CELEBRATION – our 25th Anniversary. We have a lot to do to get ready for that and we need a lot of participation from each of you. We will have elections (as always), this year we will need a Vice President, Secretary, three Board Members and of course three members for the nominating committee. Please prayerful consider any of these positions and if you are contacted say yes. We as a Board always work hard but after the work is done we have a good time. It is a great group to work with.
Back to the Celebration, it will be at South Shore Harbour in League City, September 21 through the 23rd. Plans are under way for a great convention. We would welcome your input so if you have any ideas you want to share with us, call me or Janie Mehrens or Sheryl Holland or Sylvia Jewell. Or any Board Member. You will find us listed somewhere in this issue.
I am off to Chicago later this month (February) and you know what a sissy I am about flying North in February. I don’t want you to think that I am worried but if something happens, you all know that I didn’t want to go in the first place. I will use that LOL here so you will think I am kidding. HaHaHa

So seriously, I am looking forward to the 2012 CELEBRATION and I hope you are too.
